Bako Northern Area is loosely defined as Scotland, Cumbria, the North East, Yorkshire, Humberside, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire.
As our business has developed over the years we have received enquiries from a large number of alternative sectors who have wanted to take advantage of our competitive position. These have included, but are not limited to, butchers, cake decorators, delicatessens, sandwich manufacturers, takeaway outlets, ice cream manufacturers and not least, large independent food manufacturers. There is no customer too big or too small who is unlikely to generate increased profits from purchasing via Bako!

Bako Scotland is a subsidiary company of Bako Northern
Area, which is one of 5 subsidiary companies to Bako UK. Our role is to act as a wholesaler for these products within Scotland. In order to facilitate that process Bako Scotland have invested over £1 million in a new state of the art distribution facility in Cumbernauld. This depot opened in May 2004 and is now fully operational.

We operate an “open book” policy on our pricing, which is highlighted by our price book enclosed in your welcome pack. This price book updated and published every third month and sent directly to all our customers. You will note that we stock over 2,500 products lines combining the best possible value within the ambient, chilled and frozen markets and including products to suit all your requirements
from core ingredients to part baked products to finished goods. This range is expanding on a daily basis and there are very few items where we can not provide you with a highly competitive alternative.
You will also note that our pricing policy is based upon total value of order, therefore the more you purchase the better the price!
In addition to this there are extra discounts available depending on your preferred method of payment. Our local sales managers will be only too pleased to discuss these with you.
